What to Expect at Your First Acupuncture Visit
The easiest way to complete your new patient intake forms is through our online scheduler. When you book your New Patient Appointment, you’ll be prompted to fill out your intake form online.
Prefer paper forms? You can download and print the intake and consent to treatment forms here. Or please arrive 15 minutes early to complete them at the clinic.
During your first visit, your licensed acupuncturist will:
- Review your health history and specific concerns
- Answer any questions you may have
- Create a personalized Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatment plan
After your consultation, you’ll make your payment and begin your acupuncture session. Treatment may also include other related modalities as needed, such as estim, cupping, gua sha, or heat therapy.
Once your needles are placed, most patients relax for 30 – 45 minutes. Your acupuncturist will check in and remain available if you need anything during your treatment.
Finally, relax and enjoy your session! Many patients leave feeling calm, refreshed, and balanced afterwords.
Clinic Etiquette
- Silence your phone – Help us maintain a peaceful environment by turning off or silencing your device when you arrive.
