Josh Whiteley, RN, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and Registered Nurse (RN) based in Tucson, Arizona. With over 15 years of clinical experience, he specializes in integrative, holistic care combining acupuncture, herbal medicine and Ayurveda while also alongside an understanding of Western medicine and it’s potential place in your care.
Josh offers effective, individualized treatment for a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, acute injuries, anxiety, depression, women’s health and menstrual disorders, and complex or hard-to-diagnose issues. His approach blends traditional Chinese medicine with modern techniques such as electro acupuncture, trigger point therapy, dry needling, and acupuncture injection therapy.
He earned his Masters degree in acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO, completed Ayurvedic studies at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, and received his nursing education from Pima Community College of Nursing in Tucson working in both emergency medicine and hospice/palliative care. He is also an adjunct instructor at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Outside the clinic, Josh enjoys exploring Saguaro National Park, practicing yoga, attending live music events, and studying Vedic astrology. His mission is to bridge Eastern and Western medicine to support whole-person health for the Tucson community.
